CESI is a joint stock company whose shareholders are leading national and international players in the electro energetic and electromechanical sectors. These include Enel and Terna. Since over 50 years, CESI is a provider of Testing, Certification, Consulting and Engineering services to the Electric Power System globally, including areas where large scale renewable energy investments are ongoing such as South and East Mediterranean and Middle East countries. CESI also has 30 years’ experience in R&D and production of high efficiency MJ solar cells for space applications being one of the top four worldwide suppliers with more than 60 satellites in orbit. In the last 5 years CESI has also produced terrestrial MJ cells which were extensively tested in pilots, meeting the requirements of the CPV systems. CESI also facilitates through its competencies and relationships the bankability of CPV projects.
