The CPV Consortium is a global industry organization that supports the development and optimization of the long-term success of CPV as a mainstream source of renewable energy. The Consortium strives to ensure that there is:
- A coordinated infrastructure to support rapid market growth and technology deployment
- Confidence in performance claims and guarantees of CPV products
- A single industry voice in addressing critical energy issues
- A set of standards for safety of the systems and installations, and adherence to green deployment practices
- A system to educate audiences on the CPV industry and its ability to improve quality of life and provide low cost, reliable energy
